The Comptroller General of the Republic of Perú, Fuad Khoury Zarzar participated in the INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee Meeting that was held on October 20th in Beijing, China in the XXI INCOSAI.
At the meeting, the progress of the guides and manuals for skills development of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) developed during the period 2011-2013, as the Guide to Cooperative Auditing and Internship Manual and Technical Visits were analyzed by the Subcommittee 2: Develop advisory and consultant services, chaired by the Office of the Comptroller General.
Likewise, it was discussed the new organizational structure of the Capacity Building Committee in order to suit the training needs of each SAI and Regional Organizations under the INTOSAI Strategic Plan 2011-2016, in order to strengthen it and dynamize it for achieving its objectives and targets.
During this meeting, the members of the Committee chose the Office of the Comptroller General as the venue for the next meeting of the Committee under its new organizational scheme, to be held on September 8-10 2014, in which our country will host delegates from 41 SAIs, as well as representatives of the training bodies of Regional Organizations that integrate INTOSAI.
