Public works in Peru and other countries allow the development of the people and the improvement of services. Today more than ever, due to our economic growth, it is important to ensure the proper use of the public resources invested in the growing number of works. For this purpose INFObras was created, a system developed by the Comptroller General of the Republic of Peru with the support of the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) that seeks to strengthen transparency in the management and control of public works.

 

Its design has considered the best national and international experiences, prepared by the participation of national government agencies, regional and local levels. This system uses Google Maps technology to display geographically through digitized satellite maps the location of the works, and interfaces with other national information systems to extract and share the data available regarding the different works in the country.
